Kim is widely recognized for her expertise in Crimes Against Children (CAC), narcotics investigations, and white-collar and financial crime cases. Her background includes high-level investigative roles with the Texas Attorney General's Office, the Texas Lottery Commission, the Collin County District Attorney's Office, and multi-agency narcotics task forces.

Her extensive experience gives her the ability to evaluate police work with precision, identify investigative weaknesses, and anticipate prosecutorial strategy—significantly enhancing Barbieri Law Firm's defense capabilities from the earliest stages of representation.
